Enter and View - Kent Lodge Care Home
Our team at Healthwatch Ealing conducted an unannounced Enter and View at Kent Care Home on the 22nd of February 2019 from 11pm to 12pm.
Healthwatch Enter and Views are arranged to find out how health and social care services are being run, and make recommendations where there are areas for improvement.
Key Information
- Authorised Representatives found that the general cleanliness of the home has improved noticeably since our last visit.
- Whilst there were still faint urine odours in the areas previously reported, measures have been taken to address this, including changing some of the old carpet to laminated floor.
- All bathrooms were well maintained and there were no cleaning products left attended.
Key Recommendations
- The only recommendation from this visit, is to ensure
that staff receive the full break time and to include staff in the discussions regarding staffing levels.
