Ealing and Hounslow CVS and Ealing Council to host Community Resilience workshop

Ealing and Hounslow CVS and Ealing Council will be hosting Community Resilience workshops across Ealing. They invite community groups, charities, businesses, people from the faith sector to join. Their third workshop Recovering from Emergencies will be held on January 16th from 10:30-12:30 at Greenford Hall Ruislip Road, Greenford, UB6 9QN

The goal of these workshops is to enhance connections between community groups, the emergency response services and the council. With the aim to better respond to major emergencies, we will all work together to build our community’s resilience - EHCVS

NWL NHS Launches Frailty Survey

NHS North West London has launched a review of the community services that are in place to support the frail population.
Frailty prevalence is a growing concern, particularly among our older population. According to local health data, approximately 10-15% of the population aged 65 and above in north west London are living with moderate to severe frailty. This equates to roughly 160,000 individuals who require comprehensive and proactive care.
