The experiences of Housebound individuals during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Healthwatch Ealing launched the Housebound Research Project from August to October 2021 with the support of the Ealing Council.
To understand the impact of the pandemic and resulting lockdowns have had on the housebound individuals that receive fully or partially local authority funded Homecare, Healthwatch Ealing launched the Housebound Research Project. Housebound individuals provided their feedback on how they had been supported by their Homecare providers and other health & social care services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In total, 192 individuals provided their feedback. 183 individuals submitted their feedback by sending back completed paper copies of the survey. 9 individuals completed the survey with a member of the Healthwatch Ealing research team via telephone.
